The questions for this week are lame ughh

Day 20: First thing I notice in a new person

Usually their smile. Or their hair…

I love love love curly hair so maybe that’s why I notice hair first.

And a nice smile means everything to me haha

Day 19: What I am listening to

The Legally Blonde soundtrack! I’m gonna be in it, so you guys should aaallll come and see it.

Day 18: Do I use sarcasm

(But mainly I just like food)

Day 16: Favorite place

Australia! New York!

Australia because I went there during the winter and it’s absolutely beautiful. There’s so much to do there and my favorite cousins live there too :)

New York because well it’s fucking New York. Theatre was born in New York. I’d want to live there for the rest of my life, quite honestly.

Day 15: Favorite quote

“I tried to drown my sorrows, but the bastards learned how to swim.”

-Frida Kahlo

I love her because she was an artist and and atheist and bisexual and freaking talented and awesome all in one.

Day 14: Do I have a crush

Heehee c:

Yes, yes I do. A few, actually.

She’s a dancer. She’s very very smart but just a bit ditsy, and I always want to be there to catch her when she falls. The way she looks at me makes me feel like I can protect her forever.

He’s an athlete. He’s tall. And dark. And handsome. I don’t like talking about him because I feel like I’ll jinx it, but I honestly can’t help it sometimes. No one realizes how sweet he is, but that’s what I love about him.

Day 13: My favorite color

Green! My entire room is green!

I’ll see if I can post a picture of it later :3

Day 12: What time I was born

…okay?

Exactly 6:00pm. Probably why I’m not a morning person, because I decided to come out super super late.

FUN FACT: My bestfriend Trevor was born at exactly 6:00pm on July 13th, 1996 too. So we’re twins! Except he’s white.

Day 11: What do I miss

What do I miss? What do I fucking miss?

I miss being able to spend time doing absolutely nothing during the summer, without worrying about chem homework, or SAT prep, or anything else semi-stressful.

Today has been too fucking stressful and I want it all to go away.

I want to spend a day doing absolutely nothing. That’s what I miss.

Day 10: How tall you are

Wow this is perfect because I’m so tired that I couldn’t type out a coherent paragraph about anything right now.

I’m 5’ 3”.

Yep.

Day 9: Best first date.

Oh gosh well I mean I’ve only really had one of these.

And even though I’m not dating him anymore, it’s still a really nice memory.

It was late November and it was coooold. I put on one of my favorite sweaters, tried to put on makeup but my hand was shaking so bad that I messed it up at least three times. I was excited. I was more than excited; I was apprehensive. Finally something seemed to be going my way, and I didn’t want to mess it up.

I told my parents I was going to a movie with “Alison”. I met him outside the theater and we hugged, and started talking and laughing immediately. Our movie wasn’t for 45 minutes, so we decided to go to Best Buy to waste some time. The funny thing was, we just started walking and we ended up at Best Buy; no planning necessary.

We fooled around in the instruments section: he played me the 4-Chord Song on the piano and I played him Take 5. As we walked out of the store, he asked me to tell him something that he wouldn’t know by looking at me. I don’t remember what I said, I just remembered that he laughed.

We sat in the absolute middle of the theater, he on my right. We didn’t end up getting anything to eat or drink because we thought we’d end up laughing most of the movie, and we were right. It was so free and easy to be with him.

Near the end of the movie, we somehow ended up holding hands. Neither of us were uncomfortable, and as the credits rolled, we snuck out of the theater, still holding hands. His parents were waiting for us in the lobby and we dropped each other’s hands when we saw them, like we were doing something wrong. His parents seemed to like me, and even invited me out for dinner.

Well yeah, that’s it. If you read through all of that, congratulations, you’ve seen the inside of my mind.

That was a really, really great night.
